And just like that, lightning struck!
My hair turned white. I decided I needed a bigger boat and to get on with my travels.
And then came Shadow. A 36′ Morgan. She had been on the hard for over 10 years and it was time to get her wet. But she needed some paint.
So we sanded her bottom. Painted. And traveled from Kentucky
to Harbor Island Yacht Club. And met some fine folks along the way.
Next we went offshore sailing with Joe Hagan and Offshore Adventure Sailing with his beautiful 34′ CaboRica.
I then sailed a week with Zyg Durski leaving out of Punta Gorda. Well not so fast, it rained hard for two days with strong winds so we never left the boat but then we sailed to North Captiva Island and Burnt Store Marina.
Next Nelson Miller and I travelled to Ontario and sailed for three weeks with Zyg Durski from Midland Ontario, past Bad River and Devils Door to Killarney, through North Channel and on to Mackinaw Island.
Next we sailed from Mobile Bay to Miami.
